Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and entrepreneurial Marketing Manager to join our team in Mumbai. This individual will play a pivotal role in building brand visibility, driving customer engagement, and scaling our sales and marketing efforts across India and beyond.

You will be responsible for shaping and executing integrated marketing strategies that align with Forest of Chintz’s creative vision and commercial goals. From managing store and retail partnerships to spearheading pop-ups and social media collaborations — you’ll be a brand builder and growth catalyst.


Key Responsibilities

  • Marketing Strategy & Execution
    • Develop and implement marketing plans to build brand awareness, customer engagement, and sales growth.
    • Manage and track the plans to ensure cost-effective campaign execution.

  • Retail & Distribution Channels
    • Work closely with a network of multi-brand stores and stockists; manage relationships, coordinate visual merchandising, and ensure brand consistency across retail touchpoints.
    • Identify and lead opportunities for pop-ups, exhibitions, and other sales activations.

  • Content & Communications
    • Liaise with social media and content agency to develop compelling digital campaigns that reflect the brand’s identity.
    • Edit and oversee marketing copy across platforms (emails, website, press, social media).

  • Brand Representation
    • Represent the brand at pop-ups, retail events, and other consumer-facing forums — at least initially — to build relationships and understand customer feedback firsthand.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration
    • Work closely with design, production, and sales teams to align marketing initiatives with product drops and brand storytelling.


Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Fashion Marketing, Business Administration, or related fields.
  • 3+ years of experience in marketing or brand management within the fashion, luxury, or lifestyle industry.
  • Strong project management skills — able to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; a keen eye for detail and design aesthetic.
  • Passion for fashion, craft, and contemporary design.
  • Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset; excited about building a brand from the ground up with the ability to work with independent ideas
  • Experience working with early-stage or boutique brands is a plus.
